1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QuoteKit mobile application. By using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What QuoteKit Does
QuoteKit is a tool for tradespeople to create professional quotes, manage jobs, and share documents with clients. It is provided as-is for business productivity purposes.
3. Your Account and Data
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information, quotes, and pricing you enter into the app.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in email and any devices on which the app is installed.
- You own your data. We do not claim any rights over quotes, client information, or business data you create in the app.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use QuoteKit to:
- Create fraudulent or misleading quotes
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
- Use the app for any purpose other than legitimate business quoting
5. Pro Subscription
QuoteKit offers a Pro subscription with enhanced features. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their standard policies
- Pro features are available on all devices signed in with the same store account
6. Cloud Sync Service
Cloud sync is an optional feature powered by Supabase. By enabling it:
- Your data is transmitted to and stored on Supabase servers
- You accept Supabase's terms at supabase.com/terms
- We are not liable for any loss of cloud-stored data due to service outages
The app works fully offline without Cloud Sync.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
QuoteKit is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Generated PDFs or quotes will meet any specific legal requirements in your jurisdiction
- The app will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions
You are responsible for verifying that your quotes comply with any legal or regulatory requirements in your area (VAT, licensing, consumer protection laws, etc.).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of QuoteKit, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, or data.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to the App or Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the app at any time. We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based.
